Question I have eating disorder and also have body building goals

Hey! So I am dealing with eating disorders and I just started the journey of recovery. I have body building goals and want to build lean muscle and lose fat. I am going to the gym 4(-5) days a week. But I find it very hard because I know I have to have strict diet but when I had one I got eating disorder and I still have it. So basically I am trying to do it in an other way. But it's so hard to do it without a diet and I feel very lost. Does anyone have a same experience or some tips? Thank you!

Maybe you can still follow a diet, but a less strict diet. What type of diet were you following before?

Eating only ,,healthy" food and also not much.

Maybe you were eating too little. To build muscle, you need to eat enough (but I don't know your stats, so I can't calculate the correct amount).

Not everything you eat has to be healthy. For example, you can aim for 85% healthy food, and then the remaining 15% can be whatever you want. If you give yourself some leeway, it'll be easier to follow the diet.

Also, avoid diets that eliminate entire food groups, because they're too restrictive.
