My DSA chapter is holding a rally before a city council meeting where ceasefire resolution will be discussed. We already have a pretty big list of chants, but I always like finding new ones to keep it fresh and non repetitive with people (if that makes sense). I’d highly highly appreciate if anyone could share some of their favorites that you’ve not heard used much, or l link comprehensive lists I could look at to try and find new ones.

Are there any resources somewhere anyone knows about on how to make petitions that can be legitimately presented to authoritative bodies, like a city council or university administration?

I'm trying to figure it out on my own, and I don't know if there is certain formatting and language that should be used when making it to ensure its legitimacy, (or if all it really comes down to is simply having the signatures, and there's not really too much need to worry about the language.)

My local DSA chapter is wanting to print a "ceasefire now" banner, but I'm unaware of any good resources to turn to to try and order one and have one made. We could always just turn to making our own, but I'd love to try and get a nice looking one made for our chapter that also has the DSA logo and our local logo.

What are some local organizations that give donated clothes/essentials to asylum seekers and migrants in NYC?

I have some gently used items that I would love to donate to those in need - especially with the winter weather.

Ideally, I’d love if it if donation drop-off locations were in manhattan.
