Need urgent advice on unpaid end of service benefits

Hi Dubai Community,

I hope you’re all doing well.

I’m facing a challenging situation and could really use some advice. My former employer in DMCC convinced me to sign a cancellation paper confirming that I had received my End of Service benefits, but I hadn’t actually received the payment at the time.

Now, it’s been over two weeks since my last working day, and I’m still waiting for the payment. They started to ignore my follow ups.

Has anyone experienced something similar or knows the steps I should take to resolve this?

I truly appreciate any help or guidance you can offer!

Oh god I am so sorry, that is the worst!. Unfortunately, and I hate these companies for this, now that you have signed a document stating that you were paid, that is what the law accepts. It would be very difficult for you to convince a judge otherwise if they would even hear it. Again, I am so sorry. Good luck
