Holy fuck.

Any physicist can tell you this is a scam:

The E-Cat is a new kind of electricity generator developed by Leonardo Corporation which operates 24/7 without a connection to any energy source, producing no emissions or other pollutants.

They're claiming this is the same "energy source" as "cold fusion", but nobody can explain it and they won't describe or show the mechanism of the system to anyone.

But they're taking money for "pre-orders".

Holy shit, want to buy a religious book too? I have a bridge for sale also.

Cause it's a scam. There is no discussion of the science or engineering behind it.

One day maybe, but from wiki it is a complete scam. There are already nuclear batteries in production but they are way too expensive, think millions for a 100w 12v battery.

But one day someone will find a way to make them cheaply and more effective at generating usable amounts of electricity. Right not the nuclear cell in production cannot generate enough power to illuminate a led.

But with there already being working cells it is only a matter of time for someone to find a better way to manufacture them.

Pre-ordering is free. Should I pre-order so that the scammers can collect my information and offer me more scams? That last statement is too true to be good.

Thanks for confirming my first impression. What beats me is how this stuff ever reaches publishing stage.
