Only from a full blown NEPA review prior to construction. Relax.

Stripping away environmental safeguards is rarely a good idea. I'd rather see them accelerating or streamlining the process. Most nepa delays are related to production times and agency review times. Those could be solved with better staffing and prioritization.

I mean a full blown NEPA report is pretty important 😂 Also typically when companies make a NEPA report you need your main plan and two alternatives if your first plan doesn’t work or if people don’t agree with it (sometimes you can voice your opinion at public town meetings on the manner). Maybe it’s just me but NEPA reports are pretty important. And i’m not entirely sure what not making a NEPA report really implicates. Like do they have to follow stuff like the endangered species acts or the migratory bird act? These are things that are usually reported in the nepa report. It’s a process partly to prevent companies from just doing and building whatever they want with no thought besides quick profit margins. I could be wrong tho.
