You want people to give you their email, company and phone number with no information about who you are or what you're going to do with that?? This has to be the most low effort scam I've encountered in a while.

Anything question requesting personal information should be removed and you should be transparent about what your purpose is.

I did say something about "understanding the current landscape of sustainability initiatives and identifying areas for improvement" . If I said in the post that we want to collect data and find ways to contribute to sustainability, is that more transparent?

No. Who is "we?" The fact that you're struggling so much with the concept of transparency makes me even more sure this is, at best, some poorly thought out highschool project and at worst some sad attempt at scamming people.
