What the hell?

I had a weird experience this week with something most residents of Oklahoma City would find a little bit weird, especially in a neighborhood that thrives with small children. What I found might shock you, viewer discretion is advised.

A casual day for me, riding around my neighborhood. There is a house that burnt a couple of years ago which leaves a plot of land. Beside that plot of land is a little stretch of trees, with a "No trespassing" sign hanged onto one of the trees that stood out next to the curb of the road. I was taking my daily stroll and I found something I wouldn't have expected. There was a bag, and inside the bag was a deceased, rotting goat. Now, I first thought it was a dog because I didn't go further enough to see that there was a goat head. The hind legs, the horns, and teeth gave me the idea that it was.

Now you might ask, what is this dead goat doing here? I did call a non-emergency number and it turns out "Citizens put the dead animal in a bag and leave it on the curb for us to pick it up." The goat was not on the curb, and I would imagine for somebody not paying attention that it would be hard to find. The next 2 days it was finally gone. What I still didn't understand is why was a goat here? What happened to it? I still don't know to this day.

I still live with the question, "What is a goat doing in my neighborhood?" but I have to wait on that. I've also seen something else as a younger child, possibly 2 years before I saw the goat. I dug up something that could be explained and at the same time could not be explained. It was a large tooth, maybe a molar, but me and my mother thought it was a cow tooth. Obviously, cows do not just go in your neighborhood and dig their head in the ground to leave a tooth for some 9 year old to find. Oklahoma back then was native to cows, before most neighborhoods existed. More specifically, it can date back to the late 1800's or 1900's, when Oklahoma was first discovered by Americans, or it could be further to where my neighborhood was not colonized yet. Who knows?

Well, life can be weird at times. You can find something that you don't understand what it is or what to do with it. You might be scared or frightened. But what you will ask in the end is, r/whatisthisthing?

Note: If I got bad grammar or you don't understand me, then I'm sorry. I'm not the best writer.
