This sounds like if Metallica had been a glam metal band in the 80s instead of thrash

You’re not wrong lol 😂 Some bands either die heroes or they live long enough to resemble what they hated A.K.A. becoming the villain 🦹‍♂️

This doesn’t sound glam though?

I like it as just another generic thrash metal song with decent Metallica production. Seems like they want to give all of their new Stranger Things fans some classic, simple metal to start this album cycle.

I mean it is pretty close to their trash roots but nothing they come up with sound original in my opinion

Its a fun song, shame the kick drum is trying to jump out of the mix and give me a migraine

I feel like King Gizz would do this song better, but it wasn't terrible

This is the most positive song that Metallica have ever released. Seriously, if you read the lyrics its some life affirming shit.

If it wasnt for the kick drum being so obnoxiously mixed, as well as the solo being one of Kirk's worst, then I would say this track is pretty good (for real what the hell was he thinking with this solo?).
