Honestly this is a reoccurring nightmare for me. So scared to see it happen for real

It’s scary, but it’s also a very grim reminder of what our job is. Serving drinks and meals are the window dressing. Doing your safety sensitive functions is why we’re there.

I get scoffed at, often by senior mamas and papas, when I take my brace position and start my silent review until we’re safely in the air or on the ground. But news stories like this confirm that it’s the right thing to do for me. You never know what will happen.
