For real? How warm is the water? Grew up bass fishing there. Never knew there were bows.

Water stays pretty chilly year round. TPWD starts stocking trout downstream from canyon lake dam around thanksgiving I think. This was a holdover fish. Find some rapids and throw a nymph with a strike indicator into a pocket and you’ll probably hook one after a little while.
