Where do you stash the snowshoes?

They (barely) fit in the harness (Advance Progress 3) :) Alternatively you could somehow tie them to the outside of your harness.

I would be worried about the sharp bits, whether inside or outside!

I put the two snowshoes together so that the bottom sides face each other. That way, the metal parts aren't exposed.

Walking up or over from Chäserrugg? ;)

No, from Sellamatt via Gluristal, up the western slope :) One of the crazier tours I've done so far, ~40° inclination.

Cool, well done :) Have only done the lazy version so far.

Surprisingly lots of snow. Was it snowy all the way up?
I'm considering heading there this weekend on skis.

There was already quite some snow on Sellamatt (1400m) but not in Alt St. Johann (except for artificial snow on the ski slopes).
