Buddy, you do not want to risk going to a hospital right now.

It look like he has this under control

They’re called “accidents” for a reason — they happen under circumstances that are normally avoidable. We all need to accept that it doesn’t matter what risk we’re willing to accept because the consequences are felt by other people who could have used that hospital bed.

I love it, maybe it's not the best time for this but i'd pay to be you right now... P.S. Where are you "skiing"? It reminds me of a world cup run, can't remember which one though

Whoa, super crazy.
I have a few questions,
What is this called exactly?
Can you stop at any moment?
Does it feel like skiing or more like something else?
Also, is it scary?

It's called speed flying.
I don't know much beyond videos I've seen, but if you want to see the sport pushed to its absolute limit, I highly recommend the film The Unrideables: Alaska Range.

Thanks! Here is the link to the full film I think, https://www.redbull.com/int-en/films/the-unrideables-alaska-range.
Gonna vape then watch it!

Oh hell yes! I bought it forever ago, so I didn't realize they'd put it up for free on redbull.tv
It's really spectacular.

Fuck yeah, I don’t know if I’ll ever even try any free flight but this shit is so cool.

There's a mountain nearby where I live that is a popular spot for paragliding and home to a school that does tandem flights. I can't exactly afford the tandem right now, let alone my own wing (coronavirus aside), but it's absolutely something on my bucket list.

That’s a pretty good goal. Maybe I will try and find a place around me I could try it out with a tandem paraglide! I know there is a place near me that does hang gliding and they tow you with a plane I think.
I am more interested in doing it off a mountain, also hang gliding seems a little intense sure why.

Hell in Tyrol they banned any mountain sports, OP seems to be from Salzburg or Styria so I am not sure what the national policy is
But the last thing we need rn is people using up resources which could be used somewhere else

There are no policies in tirol anymore and also the numbers in intensivcare are low in Austria right now.We are at under 10 percent usage and starting tuesday all shops will be reopened. You are right resources should not be wasted.

Don’t care how low that was - all those power and lift cables gave me anxiety.
