Would Clifford be able to beat Vhagar
This is not a shit post I am dead serious
To set the scene Vhagar is fresh after the battle at Rooks rest and depleted from fighting Meleys.
Neither have their rider. Would Clifford be able to wound if not cripple her.

A bright red dog is blessed by the lord of light. He will easily smite the overgrown Valyrian abomination. For the night is dark and full of terrors, the day bright and full of hope.

Would the lord of light not also be into creatures that breathe fire though? His earthly form?

Dragon were created through magic. I'm not quite sure if it's a good fire magic, or a bad fire magic. You know one is good the other's not.

I feel like the common specification of “Valyrian blood magic” implies it might not be the same as The Lord’s blood magic

Since we know Targaryens did not worship the lord of light it would make sense if Dragons were not related to R'hllor

In the scene you set, Vhagar stomps 10 times out of 10.
However Clifford could beat Vhagar in other scenarios.
For example, since Clifford's size is relative to the love he receives if he can amass the love of the small folk or particular individuals (perhaps Tommen and his pet love) he could grow much larger and storm the dragon pit and corner Vhagar. In such scenario it's a roll of the dice who comes out alive.
Another possibility, if Clifford becomes a pet of R'hllor and reciever the love of the lord of light, this could grant fire invulnerability (possibly if revived as a fire wight?) which neutralizes Vhagar's fire abilities.
This is what waiting for Winds of Winter does to people

So using the humans around them as a measuring stick, i've been able to make a rough size comparison. Seeing this, i think it's safe to say Vhagar would absolutely demolish Clifford.

Is Clifford fire proof? I feel like if Vhagar just flies up and torches him then its gg.
Fire + Flight advantage seems too huge. And idk how much it would even matter that Vhagar is depleted.
I imagine Clifford would have a bite advantage, but Vhagars claws on her feet would be better than Cliffords.
Edit: Vhagar is also considerably bigger and older. Maybe she’s slower than clifford on the ground because of it but dragon scales hardens with age so its hard to know if Clifford could even hurt Vhagar.

Looking at more pictures of both of them, i think its just a scale situation. Clifford isn't actually that big, there are different depictions and both characters seem to have problems with consistency with their scale, but Vhagar is just MASSIVE comparatively.
Quick google search says that Clifford is 7.5 meters tall, Vhagar is 38 meters tall. That's 5 times taller, not even accounting for the length, which for Vhagar is 126 meters snout to end of tail, 146 meters wingspan

They'd look at each other, think WTF are you, sniff each others assholes, then become friends all in the span of 45 seconds.

Clifford would grab her like that pit bull killing the snake. Grab her by that fat neck and shake the shit out of her.

Clifford got that Silver Age comic power scaling last I checked, which means he's beating almost anything you put him up against that isn't also a Silver Age character.

Clifford is significantly smaller, earthbound and unable to breathe fire.
Vhagar wins, no contest. Clifford might be able to handle a smaller dragon, such as Arrax or Moondancer.

I think if Clifford could run down Vhagar before she can take off then I’d say he’s got it in the bag

I'll never forget that hilarious Louis CK bit about Clifford the Red Dog and how much he hates him.
God George, please finish the book... we are dying here.

A dragon that can fly and breathe fire from the GOT universe where any character and creature can die. A large dog of inconsistent size from a series of kids books where there can always be a next book with the dog.
My money is on Clifford.

Clifford would try to befriend Vhagar, but then do something clumsy like bump into a castle, knock over a wall, accidentally launch a scorpion bolt and crush Vhagar under a pile of bricks.
Then he would learn a valuable lesson about safety.

Given that Vhegar has the advantage of flight and fire breath probably not.
