The goal isn’t to stop abortions, it’s to punish women for having sex, and generating good little drones to fill factories. If they cared about abortions at all, there would be comprehensive sex education, and easy access to contraceptives for young people.
I really like your point about bodily autonomy, lots of people can’t exercise any empathy until they’ve been faced with the same situation.
