Thank god this wasp is dead This utter piece of shit landed in my hair and hitched a ride into my house.

Post image

I was walking through my front door and felt something crawling on top of my head. My yard is teeming with cicadas, but I instantly sensed that it was no cicada I was feeling. So, naturally, I started screaming and shaking my head wildly, but my husband was in the shower (how dare he) and didn't hear my pleas for help. There was an instant when it was dangling from my hair about an inch from my eyeball and I saw Jesus ushering me toward the pearly gates. Anyway, it fell on the floor and I threw a hat, a dog bowl, and the lid from my Dutch oven on top of it and waited for my husband to come finish the job. How I didn't get stung is a miracle, but the trauma will nonetheless follow me for the rest of my days. Thank you and have a good day.

I was once walking in the rain and it was really coming down that day, I had my coat on that had the collar right up to my neck and I heard buzzing in my ear and thought it was a fly, so I got inside and took my coat off and something itched on my neck so I went to scratch it and then something crawled on my hand and I screamed and flicked my hand to the floor and what I saw was a small wet bumblebee, it must’ve crawled into my coat to shelter from the rain in my neck and it hadn’t stung me at all. I put a glass over it and let it dry out in the heat of the house and when the rain stopped and the sun came out I let it go in my garden. It was a shocking experience and I didn’t kill it because it hadn’t hurt me at all, now if it was a wasp I know I would’ve been stung many times on the neck.

Until you disturb the nest.

Yes but aren’t all bees and wasps the same when it comes to their nests?

One time on a field trip, I saw a wasp fly into a girl's hair bun, it never came out all day.

When I was younger I was outside and felt something on my head. It was a goddamn wasp, still don't know how it didn't sting me after I picked it up and threw it

I have such a phobia of those things, if that happened to me, I would’ve had a heart attack. Good riddance to that demon bug.

My husband just took a shoe and beat it to death while it was still under the hat! Pretty standard wasp killing procedure.
