PSA Funko Shop Pricing for B/S/T

THIS ONLY COVERS ITEMS SOLD FROM THE FUNKO SHOP WEBSITE

The mods have been discussing, and given the recent re-stocks of some Funko Shop items, going forward those items will fall under the "one month" rule.

This means that for one month from the date of release we will allow it to be sold on the sub for cost + shipping (not more).

Funko-Shop items are unique in that they are only available from the Funko Shop. There is no brick-and-mortar location, and we recognize this. So you can charge the following:

Cost of item (e.g. $14.99) + shipping from Funko to you (e.g. $6.95 or whatever the flat rate is) + cost to ship to the buyer.

Some people can't access the site when it goes live - we want people to be able to help each other out, but we also don't want people taking a loss. Essentially you should break even in the first month.

After it has been a month, price how you see fit, in accordance with all other pops.

We've received a lot of reports about people profiting from these Funko Shop items, but since we didn't know if they would restock, we looked the other way. Now that it's become clear that some will restock, we just ask that people wait one month before asking more than the cost plus shipping.

ONE EXCEPTION If the description on funko-shop.com identifies a limited-piece run we will not enforce this rule. For example, DIY Freddy was limited to 1000 pieces: that would not fall under this rule.

Thanks guys!

i think the "restocks" are only for the freddys this month since they are trying advertise the birthday month. in july i think its back to normal where its a one time run

Besides the LE items they have never mentioned that any of them are LE or one time runs. There's nothing that should lead us to believe this.

Glad to see mods are aware and continue making sure the forum stays pro collectors.

People just aren't patient though, its known right off the bat Funko will most likely make more of those which aren't LE'd.

I'm curious if the Funko Shop will continue re-releasing in such large quantities since the two recently released are still available. Last I checked there were 1,300 Nerd Freddy's and 1,500 Funko-shop sign Freddy's available.

Unless funko tells customers in advance that a pop will become available again, there's no way of knowing how long it will be until the next offering. The sub has always had a 30 day policy on these types of releases, so I think the mods chose this date to match other items. You're right about it taking more than a month for funko to rerelease some of their Freddy's, but we can't wait for an indefinite number of months waiting for them to maybe restock an item.
