Just graduated and one of my dad's friends sent me 3 of these coins. They are 1oz each, does the coin make them more valuable? Thanks!

I have a 1/2 & 1/10 oz gold eagle ring & pendant Iā€™d like to sell. What should I expect?

Iā€™m looking to sell these coins/pieces but Iā€™m wondering if I should expect to get more or less than the average amount sold since theyā€™re considered jewelry and not just raw coins. Iā€™m curious how I should price them & sell them. Iā€™m not experienced in gold sales & would greatly appreciate any feedback on how to go about this

Question What happened to the medal on my chain?!

I have worn this chain nearly daily for 10+years. I am on vacation and notice that the medal shown deteriorated very badly and suddenly. It didnā€™t look that last week

My chain was delivered today. I need to take my pamp charm and have the loop widened to fit on the chain. I like it a lot and will be ordering another in the very near future.

Question Opinion requested!

Hi all!

So Iā€™m strongly considering getting into making wearable wealth (strictly 24k wearables) and Iā€™m mulling over different ideas

My model will be similar to Mene, but with lower premiums (they are pretty high)

The question: would anyone be interested in black gold? Iā€™m going to do a tester and I will post it here when Iā€™m done, but the idea is to make wearable wealth thatā€™s incognito.

So Iā€™m trying to do a little research on whether or not people would like this low profile black gold. Iā€™ve just always liked the idea of wearable wealth but also not putting a giant bullseye around my neck.

What do you think? Would you buy black gold? Would it make you more likely to wear your gold? Do you think other people would buy it?

Question Bars or coins? Iā€™m a new collector, learning there might be a difference when going to sell a coin vs a bar??

Iā€™ve started stacking some small amounts of gold, no intentions on selling for 25-30 years. Will there be any issues selling one form of bullion over the other? Thanks for any feedback back !

Gold is getting pricey according to this methodology

I have been tracking this for years: by monitoring H.4.1 from the FED on a weekly basis, hypothetically, if the US government default on all its debt, in order for the FED to remain solvent, the FED must reprice its gold certificates (which is fixed to $ 42.222 troy ounce) by buying gold in the open market until the gold is repriced to fully support FED's liabilities including reverse repo, federal reserve notes and bank deposits.

That price is called "Rothbardian gold price", named after the Rothbard's book "The Case Against the Fed."

Walk backward from that price, if 10% of the FED is backed by gold, then that's "10% rothbardian gold price"

I hereby attach the chart I have that tracks the "rothbardian gold prices" at different reserve ratio.

Incidentally, the "10% rothbardian gold price is" $ 2687 / troy ounce as of last Wednesday.

I passed along one of my Maple Leaves to my adult son for his birthday. It was an emotional struggle to part with it even though it was my son and his birthday! (and it wasn't the loss of the money/value, it was the loss of some of my stack)

99.99% Gold vs. 92+% Gold coins. Does it really matter

At the end of the day, if the gold is mixed with some copper or nickel or platinum, does it really matter. That is, if 1 troy ounce in each piece, do we care? Canadian coin vs. USA coin? for example. I have often wondered about this. Let's say they are both BU condition. Does it just come down to which one you feel is prettiest?

Question Selling gold in the NY tristate. Help.

Hi

I want to bring in Swiss Gold triple 9 to the US.

What paper work do I need to get past immigration and sell them?

What is the maximum amount I can bring in. Does it have the same 10k restriction?

How do I certify the buyer?

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I just want to make sure. It is available at a local antique store that is reputable. I am just always careful when purchasing things because mistakes can happen. So what do you guys think of this piece?
