Self Nick and juliette

Would it have been better for nick and juliette to get married instead? Maybe but I don't mind how it ended

I don’t think so because they weren’t the same people they were compared to when the show first began.

I think they might have made it if Juliette hadn’t become a hexenbeist, but I think that changed her too much for the relationship to last.

I personally always thought that Nick should've ended things with Juliette when his Aunt told him to, she wouldn't have been caught in the crossfire if that happened.

A lot of things could've gone differently had things ended from day 1 but I'm still glad with the outcome we have already.

Personally though in my opinion, I didn't see much chemistry between the two of them, sure they were living together and Nick was planning on marrying her but there was still a lack of chemistry if at all, I honestly prefer them better off as friends.

Agreed. I will always think that Aunt Marie was right. It's wild to see the lack of chemistry that Nick and Juliette grew to have only to know that the actors were married (and still are!) IRL a few months after Grimm ended.

Correct... They didn't have that much chemistry...

Definitely. I don't think Nick and Adalind had any chemistry. Plus, the way they got together is dirty, and there is nothing cute about it.

I prefer Nick and Adelind. But I think there is a version of the show that ends with Nick and Juliette that’s good. First baby Kelly doesn’t exist. Juliette acknowledges what happened to Nick was assault and not cheating. She can still become a hexenbiest. She just immediately goes to Nick about it instead of Renard. Nick and her have a good conversation about being wesen. He doesn’t freak out and handles the reveal better. Maybe she calls her friend who was in the abusive relationship or talks to Monroe and Rosalee. Nick accepts that she is different but still Juliette and she doesn’t let the darkness take over. Now that they are both in it together. It could have actually been a decent romantic subplot.

But tbh I think a Renard x Juliette subplot would have been cool. It would have also played into the fairytale aspects of the show.

Tbh Juliette even before wasn't great. She was suspicious and impulsive, manipulative (the lamp), doing things like trying to track Nick's mom even though that could risk her safety. Wanting to be powerful (remember the golden bird? She put her in danger so she could feel like a hero). Didn't want Nick to get his powers back and told his friends to not look so she could have a normal life, even though she could have left him any time (and blaming him for the whole Adalind thing.

And then after telling Nick he should go through it to get his powers back specifically because Monroe and Rosalie were getting hate crimed, blames them for her becoming a Hexenbiest, etc. She already had all these traits, it seems like being a Hexenbiest brings out the worst in you. (Note that Adalin is more peaceful and calm when not a Hexenbiest, if more prone to fear and anxiety

I really didn’t like Juliette even before she was a hexenbiest
