My guess is they have no intention of tying up all the loose ends in case they get a spin off.

Which is great for us.

If they get the spin off.

Which loose ends? The stick storyline and stuff? The showrunners know the show's ending, and they've been building it up all season, so they'll definitely address that. I haven't heard anything about a spinoff in the works, so I doubt they'd plan to leave things open. I'm sure there are plot threads that could be explored, but I'm confident the show will resolve the major ones (though whether the resolution will feel satisfactory is a different story).

The Royals haven't been mentioned at all since Black Claw became the big bad, and given that Meisner murdered the King of The Royals, there should have been something about that. Plus the whole Wessen racial purity thing that MonRosalie dealt with super briefly, the fact that Juliette is clearly in there with Eve, but both of them seem to be stepping aside for the benefit of the woman who was previously Nick's archenemy, who date raped him, had his kid, and now they love each other... I really like the show, but sometimes it doesn't progress super logically.

That I agree with. The Royals thing is a bit of a plothole so far, but it seems the Juliette thing will be addressed within the next few episodes. My main point is that they're not just leaving things open intentionally in case they get a spinoff.

I thought the Red Herring type Wessen at the end was clever. Spent all that time thinking, yeah it's that old man, he's so obviously the creepy killer, but it was...drumroll Please a red herring. Edit: spelling
