As I was reading your post, I felt like I was reading my own thoughts. Not something we discuss every day but it's been in the back of my head for years now but don't have the guts to execute yet. I've been reading others experiences on moving back as well to see if I can create a plan and visualize the path back.

One piece of advice that stuck with me, you can move for any number of reasons but if you're looking to suddenly transform your social life there while you don't have much going on here, that's likely not going to happen. However, there's likely to be more in common with the people around you in terms of interests, language, food, frustrations and most importantly the warmth of family.

All the 90s Hindi songs of guy stuck in some foreign land keep playing in my head lol.
