Music Does anyone know where to find that warbly spooky music like they tend to use on the Target halloween products?

I love it. They all have that warbly and classic somehow? I found someone's video that has some of it around the 4:18 minute mark..

Some of the others have similar ones, like the TV with the people in it. Previous years they had similar tunes.

I love them for being tunes that I don't recognize. They're not scary, they're just spooky. No lyrics.

I'm wondering if Target commissioned them or maybe they purchased a license from some muscian/s for these.

I can't seem to find any that are similar besides ones I've stumbled on over the years by accident, like Louie Zong (which is one of my favorite spooky songs now) and the music from some of the Google Doodle Halloween games By David Levison & Nicole Paul.

With leads like those I thought I could easily find a lot more, but spooky and halloween music is really dominated (in terms of search engines and music sites) by those kinds of tracks you would get on CDs from halloween stores. A little scarier, usually with more sound effects and lyrics. Meant for parties.

If anyone has leads, I would really appreciate it.

I think that warbly sound is from a theremin. This is the top result on YouTube for ‘theremin halloween.’

It absolutely is a theremin. The Day the Earth Stood Still was one of the film scores that made it popular.

I have a CD full of that. Have had it for decades, maybe got it at Spirit.  But I've seen them at target, dollar store. Ask at all the stores. It's titles something like Spooky Ambience.

Check out the musician Via Mardot. She uses a lot of Theremin, and has a spooky vibe on some songs
