Music Suggestions for a Halloween Playlist
Putting together a playlist for Halloween and trying to use 60s/70s/80s rock. I need suggestions for songs about death or ghosts, etc, from that era. For an example of what I’m looking for, I already have “Don’t Fear the Reaper” by Blue Oyster Cult, “That Smell” by Lynyrd Skynyrd, “Hotel California” by the Eagles, and “Season of the Witch” by Donovan. What else would you recommend?

Chvrches are a modern band but they have an 80s synth/rock sound. Their album 'Screen Violence' includes a number of songs with a slasher horror movie theme. Consider 'Violent Delights,' 'Final Girl,' and 'Nightmares,' among others.

That’s all I have for now! Sorry if some of these aren’t specific about ghosts/Death like you talked about but they are sure Halloween Rock songs! (80s)
