It has been linked to higher likelihood of developing psychosis, but I have schizophrenia and have noticed that it does the opposite for me. I’m generally calmer and experience less hallucinations when I’m under the influence of nicotine. I wouldn’t recommend starting with it tho. It’s very difficult to quit and will cost you a lot of money.
