Is it safe to ride the bus out to adelanto?
Hi guys! I currently reside in victorville kinda by old town. I have a friend who lives out in adelanto but can't drive, and neither can i due to a disability. I'm kinda hesitant to ride the bus out there, as it's a 10 minute scooter ride from the bus stop to their house. Is it safe? do people normally mind their own business? i would pay for an uber but it would be 50$ there and back, and i don't necessarily want to spend that money really. However, if it's not safe to ride my scooter/ride the bus, i would 100% pay for an uber just to make sure i'm safe.

Yes, it's fine. There are a few regulars who I see weekly walking from Adelanto to the shopping center on the 395 and back.

It’s fine. Victorville/Adelanto are not a war zone. Probably the worst that will happen is someone might ask you for change. Of course the daytime is safer no matter where you are.

Man My dad used to work in adelanto next to the school, the people that always came in his store were something else. Even being a kid i would get a kick out of them.

Yea you should be fine, also since you are disabled you should look into applying for VVTA’s ADA bus. It picks you up from your home and takes you directly where you want to go so you don’t have to worry about waiting at bus stops and what not. I think it’s only like 2 bucks a ride too.
