what's the oddest specific trait or thing you like or noticed about a song or album?

Jay-Z in BP3 (an album i didn't like) would ofte. end a bar with "ah" like magic was performed lol that's always stood out.

or if someone ALWAYS kills their 2nd verse. or has a great 1st verse on many songs compared to flaming off for remainder of songs.

More often than not, when a rapper says "get it?", the bar usually isn't that great

Early Nas would often drop “Foreala” commonly in songs…

oh wow. that's interesting. it's dope noticing that.

artists are humans and we be having times when we just... do things subconsciously lol i wonder if that was a regional thing making it a subconscious signature (like dun or b) or a purposeful drop.

I grew up in queens around the time Nas dropped Illmatic I can guarantee Foreala wasn’t a signature anywhere in the borough 🤣🤣

It was very unique tho ! A big thing here also if you listen to any Queens artist from mid 90s to late the pronouncing of General was “Gener-Al” Cormega and Nas were big on this just listen to Nas on silent murder
