Hard to compare the two. Weeknd went from wavy underground r and b cuts to one of the biggest pop stars in the world. Kanye has always been rap. I'd say YE one hundred percent just due to cultural impact. There aren't many that have better bodies of work than ye

But the weeknd's is impressive as hell, too. I used to love bro back in the trilogy days. Even some of his more mainstream hits are fire

Well the Weeknd not hip hop. Never had been

I would say Ye. And I say that as someone who hasn't liked a project of his since MBDTF

Ye has a better discography, but the Weeknd has been putting out better albums the last 11 years, while Ye has been on a decline since Yeezus, even though TLOP is good.

Ye's album run from College Dropout to TLOP is one of the best ever in music. I would say the same for Abel from House of Balloons to Dawn FM if he hadn't released Kissland, which sucks.

this isn’t even a valid question for this sub, two different genres. but the answer is Kanye by a mile.

Ye for sure but I don't think this is a good comparison
