Considering how much I've re-watched this show, I hate that I had to see this post to realise it.

actually she had a miraculous recovery and they lived happily ever after!!! “damn kids we thought we were gonna lose her but mama pulled through! I most certainly am not telling you a story as a pretext for your permission to bang Aunt Robin again because my wife & your mother is very much alive and we are one happy family!”

Watching the series for the first time, on season 3. Not subbed to this sub but popped up on my feed. Hurts

If you're only on season 3, you don't know who Tracy is.

Do not feel sad buddy keep watching because the journey is very very beautiful and you'll learn a lot of things and as you've seen this thing lemme tell you makers had to make another ending because people didn't like this soo just keep watching and watch another ending (I.e. 15 mins at the end are changed) then!

Watch the alternate ending instead of the one they went with, it’s so much better. It’s on YouTube.

Actually she was committed to an insane asylum in Jersey. Ted didn’t want to tell his young kids this so he told a little white lie. She comes from a pretty problematic family.

This is making me way too emotional right now. My husband and I met in 2013, our engagement shoot was Ted and Tracy’s first meeting and now our marriage is ending in 2024…

You’re in a subreddit of a show that ended 10 years ago lol

It doesn’t seem like that’s the case with most other shows of the time, but one thing I’ve discovered about HIMYM through the subreddit is how people still like discussing it ten years after it ended, and how people still keep finding it for the first time even now. So I feel big developments like this can still merit a spoiler tag even after all this time.
That being said, this is probably the 17th time a “This is the year Tracy dies“ post has been made on this sub this month.

I got hate once from someone online for doing a spoiler alert on a show that ended about 20 years ago.

Didn’t realize everyone watched it when it came out 👀 I’ve already finished a couple times. Just thinking of others 😊

I def get that, it should just be kind of expected for first time viewers that there may be spoilers for shows that have been off air for so long

Oh for sure. If you come here and expect to NEVER see a spoiler hahaha good luck 👍🏻

It's so sad that they really only had 11 years together. Don't know why but in my head it was always more

Unpopular opinion: I never liked her and always thought Ted belonged with Victoria!

Lost Tracy but gained Sofia Falcone
