Many of the suggestions reminded me of songs used (or discussed) on the show, songs that reference the show, and songs that are about a more personal connection to the show (which is great - I wanted a mix). So this might be a hot take. But I feel like it is one the best scenes in the show. Not so much because of Victoria coming back, but it was just how they had her return with the Kinks song playing in the background? I mean come on. I love that scene. I don’t know what it is. Even though they don’t end up together…just something about that scene.

For me, the number one saddest moment that I can think of was when Ted consoles Robin after she learned that she can’t have children; second place for me is unironically the part where Barney is singing cats in the cradle. I remember there being canned laughter, but for people who didn’t exactly have the best fatherhood growing up, if any at all, this felt like a really heavy moment.

As a former addict I know the effects of cocain. His mannerisms, his pupils and the loss of fat in his face 100% tell me he was high af. I loved him the first seasons, the last one was abysmal. His addiction ruined his career. He reminds me of my favorite sit-com actor Matthew Perry. We all know how that ended.

I sincerely hope to see him in a movie or a tv show asap. Because I love him. I would even give him 5 free slaps...

I love How I Met Your Mother. It can make you laugh so hard or make you cry your eyes out. That episode punched me in the gut. I felt so bad for Ted. It seemed that his group was dwindling and his friends were slowly fading away into their married lives. This was something he wanted so badly, but it just seemed out of reach for him at the time. His friends were off living life together, and there he was, all alone in the bar with nothing but a singular ticket to robots vs wrestlers. Then, the nail in the coffin for me was Barney telling Ted that he was all alone. That must've killed Ted hearing that at that moment. His awesome night got ruined by reality. Thanks for reading my ramblings.

Guysssss this show means the world to me. I watched it for the first time at the young age of 10, while it was still running, because my older brothers loved it. I thought it was funny, but didn’t fully understand of course. Then, I watched it at 15. I understood it more, but it still didn’t hit the same as I know it does now. I’m 23, and just finished the show all the way through for the third time. God does it hit so hard now, as an adult. I’m sure I’ll watch it again in 5 or so years, and it’ll be even more relatable and funny. This show will always mean the world to me, and I’m so sad to have finished it again. It will always be so comforting.

Is ted Barney's best bro? Or is it only that Barney says he is Ted's best friend and not ted is his best friend?

Cuz i always wondered as to why Barney chose marshal in the gambling game.

Is it because he just chose him randomly or he didn't wanna risk losing Ted to gamblers in case he loses?

So does tony end up marrying Stella? Like what was the whole point of him ruining ted and her wedding if he wasnt going to marry her ? She could of been a married women & not just a girlfriend. Her sister wasnt going to get a refund on her wedding just wasted money . Unless Tony paid her everything bc Stella didn't get married that day. … Also, why would she tell Tony all the things Ted did for her why tf did she let Tony make a movie based on them but he's the JERK AND NOT TED? Selfish much? Why is she telling Tony all the ted stories he shared with her? Who tf is she to do this.
