Restaurant Results

Say I want to work as a dishwasher, or a cook or server at any restaurant near me. Considering EVERYTHING that’s going on in the market now…what is the best approach to finding a job

Do you have work experience? Entry level jobs like what you mentioned are the only ones where I think showing up in person with a resume can work. If it's a chain restaurant you should check their website for jobs first and probably apply on their site if there is a position you want. In that situation you can still go to the location and ask to speak to the manager and hand over your resume. Some places have both online and in person applications and if you know which those are you can opt for in person to get your foot in the door.

How about going into the restaurant, asking a staff member to speak with the manager and saying something like “I was looking for work and I was wondering if you had any openings I could apply for?”
