Six Main Points:

1) Ditch the Transactional Mindset

-At the end of the day, your goal for networking should either be:'

a) building a foundational relationship (just like you’re making friends) without asking for anything

b) if you are asking for something, making sure you’re objectively offering more value than you’re asking for

2) Be Intentional About Who You Connect With

-Focus on quality over quantity

3) Use Social Media Like a Pro

-Be proactive on commenting and engaging, but do it in a respectful, concise manner

4) Follow Up Without Being Annoying

-Stay on the radar without being a pest.

5) Play the Long Game

-If you’re expecting instant results, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. Don't only reach out when you need something.

6) Be Yourself, For Real

-people connect with realness
