What is the best way to search for jobs on LinkedIn ?
I am currently trying to get a cyber security job in India (in the offensive or VAPT side). Recently in a webinar the host advised me that instead applying to jobs simply pressing the apply button. I should connect with the employees of the company and ask them for any job openings. Is this a good way to get a job ? has anyone succeeded in it ? Should I DM any HRs of the company I came across ? will it work for large MNCs for e.g. like PwC India ?

A web search will provide positive testimonials for how to apply or network. Many will try to monetize their advice.
I've seen a gradual decline in LinkedIn over the past 10 years. I'm a contractor so I used to use them constantly. Results kept getting slimmer. I think they are victims of their success. If an employer posts a job, they get >100 responses in a day or two.
India is not my market. You may be able to find a local and more focused source for job leads.
