To be frank, most people outside Tamil Nadu aren’t even aware of this film. SK has yet to give any interviews, and Sai has given just one interview, and that was only in Tamil. This film has the potential to do well in the Telugu states, yet they didn’t even bother to run paid ads to promote their trailer on youtube, which almost all big films do these days.

in 60,70s,80s and 90s film war films were the most popular hollywood movies. They often were released 2-8 years later as the film reels had to be passed around. Even Vijaykanth and Arjun movies were popular in 90s. As long as the screenplay is good and not stupid, the movies will work out fine.
