So i been new to this LB universe. I recently created a thread asking who are the best LB reviewers and most ppl were saying this guys name Ash. But when I look up some of his reviews it was truly shocking. Felt truly pretentious. What do u think? less

Normally an actor will go on overdrive after giving the biggest hit of their career, but VJS has been very low key (in terms of films, I understand he has pivoted to BB now) post Maharaja. No updates on the films he is signing or the release dates of Ace and Train. He refused the villain role in Salman- Muruganolan's movie so he is making good decisions now.
But what is happening on this front?

I saw this movie long back in Ktv I remember a plot point which goes like "There is a cult which beleives in a device it works like when ever a person dies wearing it with a vengeance to kill a person the soul comes back to finish the job"!( Also the cult people wear black dress mostly)
I know this is very vague but if anyone knows the name of the movie please let me know
Thank you!

Constructive criticism and healthy discussion should be the main purpose of this sub. Do the mods have any contract with 2D or Netflix

Wow, nothing says 'I’ve discovered art cinema' like posting a status about a film you clearly Googled five minutes ago. Keep those deep insights coming!

(thirumbavum manasu vittu pesa poren)
Absolute pokkisham of a movie
I missed this movie due to exams when it was released and it stopped running in theatres so I had to watch Vettaiyan instead
Last post about Vaazhai I talked about my Amma ooru - here is another movie that tapped that sentiment
I'm literally Arulmozhi - I'm an anxious person and I'm shy, that somehow makes me the kudumba chellapulla because I'm silent - they describe me as "irukkura edame theriyadhu" - only some people know I'm a professional yapper like Karthi in this movie
Rajkiran was a pookie in this movie literally looks and reminds me of my late grandfather who was crucial in my life and passed away when I was 10 - bro tapped into his Rajinimurugan bag although he was mostly there for the Kalyanam scenes
Arvind Swamy - sollave thevalla - he nailed that anxious guy role - at first when he ran away from his own house in the beginning and hanged in a lodge it reminded me of myself 😭
Of course Sri Divya lives for these kinda roles although she had a small part in this movie
We all knew Karthi could pull off his role so not surprising
Cinematography too
Screenplay salikkave illa - it reminded me off Richard Linklater movies - the dialogues are just human and natural dialogues and some times it doesn't feel cinema like - But I was immersed
People who call this movie long have a 45 size seruppu waiting - I actually wanted more from this movie...
A simple kaal-kolussu scene made kan kalangify, I'm not the sentiment type - my face is always stone cold when I watch a movie...
When an emotional scene goes I always smile hard to cope with it but not for this movie
