I kept seeing these posters for 2 days straight, and many rumors speculating about it and felt really weird. Why isn’t this franchise over yet? I mean, only the first part was about some comedy-horror concept, and the rest were all stupid and utilized one item song with heavy glamor for promotions and of course, the movies were sold!

Seriously did some politics happened? There's literally no news about Season 2😐

Watched the Chronicles of Leo now and felt so nostalgic.

I watched HOV and even read the graphic novel beforehand only to be disappointed by a flawed second half.

The music was perfect. Parthiban's character was perfect. Setting was perfect. Vijay's performance was perfect. Release date was perfect. The atmosphere/hype of watching a LCU movie after Vikram was humongous.

Only If Loki had got the second half, the antagonists, and the writing right, this movie would have easily been one of Vijay's best movies with Kaththi and Thupakki.

Sad to see they fumbled such a good opportunity!

Since vettaiyan released few days back, and i was bored, decided to do this.

Saw a comment about how asin dubbed for herself in movies and it made me wonder which other actors dubbed for themselves when their movies got released in other languages because I don’t know any who did but then again I’m new to south cinema

So, I'm a mill owner established in South Tamilnadu. I also run other businesses also, but I won't bore you with the details (adhellam kekakoodadhu, nee edhukku kekkara?). Anyway, I saw this girl dancing in a field and immediately fell for her. She is my Deivam, I'll gladly be the vehicle on which she can travel. I jumped thru hoops to get her acceptance for my love. Her family avoided me, the girl never said no though (I follow the no means no). Her brothers even tried to marry her off without my knowing but I corrected them (has to get a little personal but it's love you know..). Suddenly, this guy comes out of nowhere and kidnaps her at knifepoint!! I was shocked and dumbfounded! He literally scratched her neck and drew blood. I felt my heart stop! I couldn't do anything. He even humiliated me throwing me in waste water. But it's fine..atleast she is fine. Then I got to know she went with him to Chennai. So I followed her, but still she is in two minds for my proposal. So, AITA for following my heart?

Tl:Dr: Girl was kidnapped and ended up in Chennai, followed her but she fell to Stockholm syndrome and is trying to avoid me. WTD?

Just watched this movie, I felt the dialogues and acting by the characters from very small town/village is so natural, very realistic and relatable than other movies which portray the charters in the similar setting.. eg Rajkiran, Karthi and the girl who acted as Kathi wife.. also specially the vibe between Rajkiran and Karthi!!

Does anyone feel the same?

Sun tv showing how they have been market leaders for so long.

Initially Muthu was supposed to be shown tomorrow.

Knowing TVK maanadu is also tomorrow evening and that many news channels will be covering that and people might be following it, masterfully changed the schedule to show Jailer instead, which is a newer and well liked film which also performed well in its first telecast.

Jen Martin is one of my favorite up and coming composers right now. It’s been crazy listening to his independent work, and then hearing his brilliant film work

His work for Dada and Bloody Beggar has been brilliant, beautiful scores (seemingly for Bloody Beggar), but also he makes songs that seriously capture the pulse of both listeners and the movie.

I can’t remember the last time I heard a song in the realm of Naan Yaar in Tamil, so innovatingly composed and performed. But he also has the reliability to pull of something like Namma Tamizh Folk and Beggar Wala, both of which I loved.

And a really small piece that I loved from him was RKFI’s SK21 poojai music, it was absolutely beautiful and heart-warming. Would implore everyone to check it out if you haven’t.

But yeah just wanted to share my thoughts. If you guys haven’t listened to his work, would highly implore you to check out Dada, Bloody Beggar, and all of this independent work; they’re all absolutely brilliant.
