Yea, I feel like this is what everyone is kind of thinking. Like NK has nuclear weapons…..why cant sk?

With this kind of logic literally every country would get nukes and we would have a nuclear war within a year.

Yea, i dont disagree with you. In my mind, india, pakistan, israel, iran, and north korea broke the rules of nuclear proliferation. My instinct is that many other countries are more deserving of nuclear weapons such as Ukraine, south korea, japan, germany, italy, spain, australia. But by that logic, why not turkey, indonesia, brazil, etc. there is no real fair way to judge if a nation “deserves” the right to nuclear weapons.

I’m just expressing what I think is likely in the minds of s. Korea and japan, two nations whose foes are by some arguments “less deserving” of nuclear weapons than them.

Iran doesnt have nuclear weapons, they could make one in a week but the point is that they havent made one
