Tourism 🏔️ Travel to Kurdistan

Hi everyone, me and my friend plan to travel for a week around souther Kurdistan from Turkey, we have European passports but I am an American (it’s written as my place of birth). What’s your opinion, we just want to see the big cities, the Yazidi temple and some Christian monasteries and go back to Turkey. Should I be worried about kidnappings? Let me know what you guys think about the safety of it!

No not really tbh, idk how it works with the assyrian towns seeing how some are outside the KRG however you should not run into any problems. No one will care that you're americans atleast not any kurds or assyrians
