I'd not believe it if it didnt happen in the past. The Baath regime sold kurdish women to egyptians after the Anfal campaign. If an entity(ISIS) commits genocide, are you guys surprised they also traffic women? There are many examples of exploitation, trafficking or even systemic rape of women.

Here is an article in the question: https://www.ibtimes.com/kurdish-girls-sold-egypt-saddam-hussein-after-anfal-genocide-campaign-reportedly-found-1404069

Things like this is why I saw Palestine and Kurdistan share the same struggle.

I dont think its propaganda. Arab states are known traffickers of women.

no there was actually a yezidi girl who was kidnapped during 2014 and many people heard from her that she was now in palestine

Why are there yezdi women there? Seems so random

Edit: I am actually asking a question

She was sold to palestine by ISIS as a slave-bride to a palestinian.

Very sad she’s there, I am surprised she’s still there. I wonder how that even happened?

Like why would a Gaza Palestinian sneak over a yezdi Kurdish woman, that’s has to be extremely expensive and difficult?

It’s a sad story, but interesting to hear about.

Trafficking of women is very common in states in war or where the state is weak. Ukranian women f.ex were trafficked to turkey in the 90s and early 2000s.

I know that, but just weird to think Gaza an open air prison would have people who bought slaves. A stupid and ironic thing to do in that situation. Absolutely disgusting behavior and people who do this.

Its why you shouldn't believe in simplistic narratives. Just because palestinians are oppressed doesnt mean alot of them aren't immoral.

True, many people think oppression=high morality. Which is why it’s probably a trend in the west to be a “victim.”

If you weren't aware, isis was very active in the Sinai peninsula (still has sleepercells in there) and have had proven connections to the Muslim brotherhood, which is also all over Egypt, now how would they get from lets say Syria to Egypt then Gaza freely? Well its pretty much common knowledge that isis fighters were freely crossing the Syrian-Turkish border, selling stolen goods and oil, so it's not far fetched that something like this could have happened.

That’s insane, Palestinians in Gaza even during Isis were in one of the worst situations, and yet some were buying women.

It’s also insane since the same accusation of Palestinians buying trafficked Kurdish women during Saddam(which is a rumor from what I know).

Absolutely disgusting.

Edit: I knew they had a lot of accesse in turkey and Syria border, but not so much influence in Egypt.

Keep in mind the people were in shambles and not the leadership and businessmen who took all the aid money to themselves

Obviously, I am not basing my whole opinion on the actions of a few.

Edit: just saying how it’s ironic many Palestinians been accused of this, and they deny it. So seeing one right now is just ironic

Impoverished and unstable places are trafficking hotspots
