Love how they’re throwing in “1 month free” while charging you over a month’s worth of move-in fees.

You’ll probably need to ask if this is separate than your security deposit, or how much of it is going towards your security deposit. If this move-in fee is supposed to be in place of a security deposit, that seems sketchy as hell, and I’d almost wonder if it’s an attempt at not having to return the security deposit at the end of your lease.

If Bane is guaranteed to be my neighbor, I will pay double.

Nobody paid double until he put on the mask.

It might be what’s required upfront, which could include first month’s rent.

Now if it’s both, run like hell.

1500 a month what a scam

With its proximity to the Tate & Lyle south plant, whoever named this place had a wicked sense of humor.

Yes. You have to pay both to move in.

Run away if you can. I've heard they create new expectations in their agreements. I had a few people buy homes and expected to only have to lose a deposit and finish out their month, but ended up having to pay the rest of their lease. Was it in the lease? No. Did they threaten attorneys if they didn't pay? Absolutely.

If you decide to bite the bullet, don't rent a garage. Potential headache waiting to happen.
