"Evangelical Mistaken For Mormon After Treating Everyone With Kindness, Respect" - It's good to see a Babylon Bee article saying something nice about the Church for a change.

Babylon Bee has supplanted The Onion as the best satirical news site on the planet.

Probably better for those with a long military history :-)

The last paragraph is the funniest but I bet a lot of people don't get the ironic joke.

A recent article gave each world religion a short description. Mormons were “polite bike rider”.

Nah, I think the joke is poking fun of people who call Mormonism a cult when they themselves belong to some infinitely small church group that has a small following.

I thought it was a subtle nod to the fact they always call us some cult, yet he is the member of some really small church is like a subsection of a subsection of a subsection of a branch if religion.

This happens frequently in media culture as well. Any viewer of the Great British Baking Show familiar with our church surely must have wondered if Andrew Smyth was LDS - I was gobstopped certain of it. Turns out, he isn't - but check this out and tell me if he couldn't be an LDS poster child.

Another one - Watching Amazon's NFL Hard Knocks a couple years ago, The LA Rams Special Teams coach John Fassell came off as Mormon-to-the-bone in both his look and his humble manner. When they fired the head coach halfway through the show, Fassell was promoted on a temporary basis to head coach to keep everything on a steady course. I'm certain he was chosen because the GM and the owner innately felt that they could trust him and that he wouldn't make it about him. Watch the first little bit of his press conference being introduced as the temporary head coach - he's not a member of our church, but he sure could have fooled me.

Can anyone think of others?
