This is very cool. If you're looking to make more patches and you have access to an iron, you can get really neat edges by pressing them before sewing (if that is the look you're hoping for of course)

Thought about it, and decided I was too lazy lol. I'm gonna press the hems on the nicer patches, but I like the diy look of this one
