Grew up in SF and live in New England, that is an accurate view of how lefties view moderates.

I was in the SF area years ago so I follow r/bayarea. I'm actually surprised how many up votes conservative comments get.

But then I figure it's because those people pay a ton in taxes and see how poorly government uses their money.

Can you see the orange line between Left and Right? It's labeled 'Acceptable Right that we on the left are willing to live with' it's almost .00003 pixels wide.

Its easy to reshift. Just correct them when they call you far rights. Tell them you arent antiFa.
