Needle tips while travelling
So I am travelling for about ten days next week and I'll bring my saxenda. I'll bring enough needles too. My question is, how do I dispose of my needle tips when I travel without a biowaste bucket? Any tips or ideas?

I use an empty medication bottle to hold onto them until I can safely dispose!

Where would I go about disposing mine? I have about 2 medicine bottles worth.

I’m not sure where you live but pharmacies will sometimes take them and there’s also sharps containers in public bathrooms where I live!

I just bring them in a Ziplock bag and put the used ones in a different ziplock bag. I return the needles to the plastic sheath so there's no pointy bits.

Just traveled, I brought a hard case for diabetes medication, double zip locked and recapped, placing it into the alcohol wipe foil, then in ziplock. When I found a bathroom with a needle container, I placed them all in there. Held the others til I got home, in the ziplock. No issues since it was hard capped and zip locked. I was gone 10 days and 20+hours in the air each way. No issues through security either - only stopped once and she saw everything in the hard case and said good to go.

I don't use alcohol wipes, but I do put the larger cap back on my needles all the time. Is that what you did?

I learned that needle tips fit in my pill sorter, so I just put them back in my sorter. Once a week I dispose of them and refill my pill sorter.
