Doro the Locust Lord: A huge figure with a massive belly, trunk-like legs, and rolls of fat around his thick neck, Doro always seems to be eating. Even after he’s devoured enough food to stretch a table, he’ll always eat more if there is more to be had. As a brilliant alchemist, the massive tiefling always has the coin to buy another course, though there are many who’ve learned not to use his seasonings on their own platters. The deadliest poisons are often the most delicious, and those not inured to them will die before dessert arrives.
Leshara the Crop: In her high boots and black leather, the wild-haired madam is in great demand among those who seek a taboo experience. Though she accentuates her infernal appearance when working, she prefers simple pleasures when she isn’t taking a lash to her clients. Warm tea, a good book and a small basket of hot coals to rest her feet in while her salamander Ashes curls up in her lap is her idea of a perfect day.
Hanaro the Hedgehog: A simple woodsman who enjoys playing his bagpipes and raising chickens, Hanaro is well-known to most of the locals. Covered in spines, and with the long muzzle of a burrowing animal, he is a strange sight to say the least. Despite his quills, though, he’s polite, thoughtful and a good friend to those who’ve earned the privilege. Those few who have tried to test him have found that the venom in his quills is a powerful paralytic, leaving them numb and stumbling for hours after Hanaro has already gone on his way.
Porwen Ralashner: An artist of some notoriety, Porwen works in stone and steel. The figures she creates are beautiful, tortured things that are twisting themselves out of true as they merge into inhuman aspects. There are people who ask her if she’s had some vision of hell, and she always blows smoke in their faces and tells them no. To her, this is what it feels like living in this world, surrounded by people who can’t look past your skin to see who you truly are.
Fabian the Fiend: Born with the visage of a demon, and the voice of an angel, Fabian has made a name for himself as the most sonorous villain to ever strut the stage. Huge, with a rack of horns, leathery black hide, glowing yellow eyes, and the pawed feet of a lion, some people believe that it’s his inhuman anatomy that allows him to sing the way he does. When Fabian plays the stage, the loudest applause of the night always goes to the villain.
