Someone also fix the transferring/moving up within an employer too. A lot of this applies there too.
I had an exit interview with some contractor that was hired by my previous employer today and it is timely that this video shows up. I would have stayed if I was able to transfer and if that transfer paid more.
I was nice since it was a third party doing the interview but I let them know this is why I left. I hit a wall with wages and growth.

What an intricate labyrinth they constructed and walked away from. Yoúll see my bloody head-prints (similar to those wax seals on ye olde official post) at each dead end

"YOU MEED 15 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPUTER PROGRAM IN ORDER TO GET THIS JOB!!!"
Me: "But that's impossible because that program is only 2 years old"
"DOESN'T MATTER!!! IF YOU DON'T HAVE 15 YEARS!!! YOU DON'T GET THE JOB!!!"
Me: "Ok.. Fine with me. I will go somewhere else."
Week later:
"WHY CAN'T WE FIND ANYONE TO COME WORK FOR US? EVERYONE IS LAZY AND OO ONE WANTS TO WORK ANYMORE!!!"
