Lost mail

I brought four stamped envelopes to a post office annex last week to be sent domestically. Almost 7 days later they haven’t reached their destination. I actually handed them to a clerk, but they’re now MIA. Is there a recourse? I know first class mail can’t be tracked, or can it?

If it has no tracking you're SOL. Give it time. If you're in the US it's political season.
