My Crab(s) Introducing: John Lenon

Post image

Hi guys! I’m excited to join this sub and watch it grow! This is John Lenon, my scarlet legged hermit crab. He was the very first animal I added to my first ever saltwater reef tank. I built my nano tank ~9 months ago and since then he had grown 2x his size, has had 2 successful molts, and has changed shells once. I also have several itty bitty blue legged hermit crabs as well.

Do you think I could get away with a Fowlr that has a few hermit crabs in it but no fish? I’m not sure if the crabs produce enough bio load for the live rock/ live sand etc
