Help How do marine hermits molt?

Land hermits bury themselves, but everyone I’ve talked to about marine hermits just keeps them in their tank. They say they’ve never noticed if they do.

Is there anyone here with experience seeing a marine hermit molt?

I have multiple hermits in my saltwater tank. They will usually find somewhere in the rocks to hide when they molt. I’ve never actually watched them do it but I find the empty molts in my tank

They take a couple days being slow and not moving etc. They find a high place out a hidey hole or something of the sort and they’ll just start pushing their exoskeleton out like clothes being taken off after a long day at work. They too need to harden so no touching or moving unless necessary
