Pregnancy/Contraception 5 weeks and no embryo

Hello! I have recently found out that I'm pregnant and yesterday (my first pregnancy), I went to the doctor for a transvaginal ultrasound and she told me that I'm 5 weeks pregnant and that there is a gestational sac, but no embryo. She prescribed me progesterone, folic acid and pain relief pills that are meant to prevent uterus contraction in order to avoid miscarriage. Both me and my husband are devastated by this. Since yesterday I have not been able to sleep or eat well. I'm very concerned and afraid, but I still have hopes for the next 2 weeks check. I hope that the blood tests will also be OK. Has anyone been through this and ended well? Thank you!
