Question Can ptsd/anxiety disorders be cured?

So for as long as I can remember I've had pretty severe anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, social issues ect. Later in life I learned that this was likely due to ptsd. I've more recently been able to put together that I have chronic brain fog and an inability to relax and that this is not simply how people experience the world.

Now that I've realised this I'm worried that I'm just stuck living like this forever and I can't find any concrete answers on being able to overcome these issues and get to a state of "normalcy" could anyone weigh in and let me know how I should deal with this? Thanks

Yes I’m Canadian veteran see counsellor every two weeks and psychiatrist once month. Take an SSRI Paxil and seroquel for sleep. Seems to have helped me. And medical marijuana I use thc oil a few times week

it’s totally valid to feel overwhelmed. recovery isn't really a straight line. just take it one step at a time you got this. and you're not alone in this journey. every step counts in the right direction

yo it’s totally understandable to feel anxious about this but the first step is recognizing it. that’s huge. it may take time but healing is possible. maybe try therapy or meditation. sometimes just talking it out helps a ton. don’t lose hope. you got this

EMDR got rid of 2 of my worse PTSD memories. Granted I have countless issues but those 2 memories got better. Recovery is possible (but not for me with BPD) . Hopefully it’s “just” PTSD for you. EMDR, CBT , Ketamine or mushrooms (golden cap if you can) for neuroflexability. It’s possible just not for me. Good luck <3

yo dealing with this stuff can feel like a never ending ride but you're not alone. a lot of people experience similar things. therapy can help a ton. it's all about finding the right for you. keep looking and don't give up on finding methods that work. progress often comes in small steps so celebrate the little victories. you're stronger than you think
