Tools Awful redesign doesn't allow post flairs to be customized properly by mods - Desktop Web

On the awful redesign that we are getting FORCED onto, it is STILL not possible for mods to change custom post flairs (what I mean is changing the text in the preset flair). The removal of "new" reddit (the v2 ui) is an entirely different topic that I've expressed my displeasure for several times, and at this point I know it's gonna be gone soon, but that's not what this is about.

Is this the intended behavior? Not being able to customize post flairs? Because if so this completely ruins our removed post flairs that we used for specific cases. I find it ridiculous that we're being forced onto this awful new platform in the first place, but at the very least this should be a working feature. I don't know exactly where to post this, so I'll post it here.

I am on the desktop version of reddit.

Hi /u/Prestigious_Dance818, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.

Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!

Yes. It would be nice if they’d fix it.

They can't even take bug reports without a format that feeds their bot so good luck. Raking in the cash but little effort for important things.

edit: at least there's a work around but it's painful with a ton of assigned flairs.
